Anja Riebensahm

Anja was born in Germany, grew up in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Ghana, and has been happily settled in New York City for the past twenty-two years. Formerly the owner of a Manhattan fancy cake shop, she now spends most of her time as a freelance illustrator, muralist and surface designer. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, A Cup of Jo, Buzzfeed, and in various books. You can find her murals at Jack’s Wife Freda restaurants in Manhattan.
